Two H145s Ordered by WIKING Helikopter Service GmbH

Airbus Helicopters has signed a contract for the delivery of two H145s in offshore configuration to German operator, WIKING Helikopter Service GmbH. The contract was signed at the ILA international aerospace exhibition in Berlin. This is the first order of Airbus Helicopters rotorcraft by the German operator. The first H145 will be delivered before the end of this year.

Comlux Adds Global 6000 Business Jet

The VIP charter division of Comlux, Fly Comlux, has signed a purchasing agreement with Bombardier for a single Global 6000 business jet, that will add to its existing VIP widebody fleet. Fly Comlux has a fleet of six Bombardier business aircraft-including Challenger 605, Challenger 850, Global 5000, Global 6000.

Hahn Air Adds Cessna Citation Sovereign

German operator Hahn Air which provides domestic, international scheduled and charter flights from Germany, announced at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in May, that it would add another a Citation Sovereign to its fleet. Hahn Air has an operates an exclusively Citation fleet.

Leonardo-Finmeccanica Receives AW109SP Grand New Order from SaxonAir

UK based operator SaxonAir Charter announced at EBACE, that it would acquire a Leonardo-Finmeccanica AW109SP Grand New to be operated by SaxonAir Helicopters in Europe. A high-performance light twin engine IFR helicopter, the Grand New will be used by the operator to serve its customers in both the London and the wider UK market.

Malaysia Airlines and Lufthansa Technik to Collaborate on MRO Facility

Malaysia Aviation Group and Lufthansa Technik AG, will establish a strategic partnership framework for a joint venture (JV) to establish a regional maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, at Malaysia Airlines’ existing facilities at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Planned for 2017, the MRO facility, will service aircraft belonging to the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family of single-aisle jetliners.
