Japanese Operator Receives First Airbus Helicopters H135

Japanese air services operator, Tohoku Air Service (TAS) has taken delivery of its first brand-new H135 (formerly known as EC135 P3) from Airbus Helicopters in Japan. TAS will be the first Japan operator, to introduce the H135 into service in the country. The new H135 will join two EC135 P2+s, already operational with TAS which are used mainly for power line patrols.

Vietjet Partners with Hahn Air to Expand Operations

An Interline Agreement signed between Vietjet and German carrier Hahn Air, will now allow the Vietnamese carrier to sell its flights on Hahn Air’s booking system.  Hahn Air covers 190 markets and cooperates with more than 300 air, rail and shuttle partners and over 95,000 travel agencies. It will now sell Vietjet’s tickets on its HR-169 ticket system.

SITA to Provide Next Generation Connectivity to Kenya Airways

Global air transport communications provider SITA, will provide faster, new-generation connectivity, with high-speed communication infrastructure across Kenya Airways’ global network. Kenya Airways will have access to high-speed, secure connectivity, through SITA Connect, allowing the airline to link employees and sales offices around the world to Kenya Airways’ central systems and applications to manage everything from reservations, check-in and boarding.

Etihad Airways to Expand Services to Italy

Etihad Airways has announced that it will expand its services to Italy with a daily flight to Venice Marco Polo Airport. The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, will commence daily flights to Venice from October 30 with an Airbus A319, offering 16 seats in Business and 90 in Economy.
