MTU Maintenance to Undertake V2500 Overhaul for Mexican VivaAerobus

MTU Maintenance has signed an exclusive 5-year contract for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of seven V2500-A5-powered aircraft on lease with Mexican low cost carrier VivaAerobus. 
 
Since it started MRO services for V2500 engines in 1989, the German-based service provider for commercial aero engines has already performed more than 4,000 shop visits for the propulsion system.

Alaska Airlines to become 5th largest U.S. Airline

Boeing Reports First-Quarter Deliveries

Boeing Company has released delivery figures across its commercial and defense operations for the first quarter of 2016. The airframer delivered 121 737s, 23 777s and 30 787’s in the first quarter of 2016. Deliveries of the older 747 and 767 jetliners stood at an aircraft each.
